Redmond is transforming Earth Day this year into a month-long celebration of environmental stewardship, community engagement, and sustainability. With a variety of eco-friendly activities, hands-on workshops, and family-friendly entertainment, residents are invited to participate in numerous events designed to reduce environmental impact while connecting with neighbors and learning new skills.
Commitment to Sustainability: The Environmental Sustainability Action Plan (ESAP)
Redmond’s Earth Month activities reflect the city’s ongoing dedication to environmental action through its Environmental Sustainability Action Plan (ESAP). Originally adopted in 2020, the ESAP is undergoing an update to incorporate the latest science, technologies, and policies. Residents are encouraged to provide feedback and share ideas through Redmond’s LetsConnect platform, helping shape the future of the community’s environmental initiatives.
